FAQs - Auditions

General Audition Information

  • A: Auditions will be held from 4th, 5th and 6th February from 10am to 8pm. Recalls will be 9th February.

  • Auditions will take place at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Horden. Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

  • You can sign up for an audition by completing our online application form.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • The auditions are open to over 18s (no upper age limit) living in County Durham or within a 10-mile radius of Horden. If you are unsure, get in touch.

  • Please prepare monologue or song, dance routine, etc. that is no longer than 5 minutes.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Audition Process

  • The audition will consist of a series of basic questions about you and your interest - plus your reading/song.

  • Each audition slot is approximately 20-30 minutes. Please be prepared to stay longer in case we are delayed.

  • Due to the high volume of auditions, individual feedback may not be provided. However, all candidates will be contacted with the outcomes.

Post-Audition

  • Results will be announced by 11th February. All candidates will be contacted via email or phone.

Additional Information

  • Auditions are free to attend.

  • Due to space constraints, only auditioning individuals are allowed in the audition area. Friends and family can wait in designated areas.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We will do our best to accommodate changes.
